Open hyperlink in new window when PPT is on Web (2002)

    Hello,
At times I need to show a .PPT file via a web browser and do not want to convert it to a webpage. I have webpage links within the presentation and when I click on them they open in the same browser window as the .PPT file. Is there any easy way of making the link open in a new window when the .PPT file is viewed in a web browser without having to convert it to a webpage and edit the <a href> tag with target="blank".

    Thank you for your input,
    Steve

    Open Windows Explorer.
    Select Tools | Folder Options...
    Activate the File Types tab.
    Select PPT.
    Click Advanced.
Clear the check box "Browse in same window".
    OK your way out.

Powerpoint presentations should now open in a PowerPoint window instead of in the browser. This should also solve the problem that a link opens in the same window.
