    geologic symbols (word 2003)

I need to make the geologic symbol for Cambrian, which is a capital C with a dash through it. and Triassic which is a capital T with a lower case r printed such that the vertical stem of the T and r overlap. Any ideas on how to make these fonts?
    Thanks.

The USGS has a freely available geologic-age font - see Public Review Draft--Digital Cartographic Standard for Geologic Map Symbolization (PostScript Implementation) (you'll need to be able to open .tar files)
