Make the colour pallet show with a macro (Excel 2002/2003)

    Hi

I am creating a workbook that will be full screen with no toolbars (please dont ask why), <img src=/S/crazy.gif border=0 alt=crazy width=15 height=15> so i would like to know the VBA code to make the pallete show so the user can select a fill colour.

I can do the code for the area to be selected but its the bit above. I tried to record a macro but a soon as you move off the pallete it disappears of course.

    Many Thanks

    Does this work for you

    Application.CommandBars("Fill Color").Visible = True

The palette will have to be undocked to work. To close it they just have to press the X at the top

    Hi Jerry

It works just fine, I don't suppose you know if there is a command to close it Automatically after the colour is selected.

or course you would have said if there was. <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

    Many thanks for the help

    Try this instruction:

    Application.Dialogs(xlDialogPatterns).Show
