Has anyone used this? They are offereng 25!!gig free online backup. Is it only if you are running an AMD computer? There is no FAQ on the site. http://amd.streamload.com/Brands/AMD/home/home.aspx

Except for the use of the logo,
I see NO connection with AMD mentioned ANYWHERE on that site OR in it's privacy policy statement
( extremely long ).
It appears to be a company called "Streamload, Inc" in San Diego, Claifornia.

There is also this:
Log Files. Streamload uses IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, <big> <big>track User</big> </big> . IP addresses are linked to personally identifiable information for security and operational purposes only.

I don't know for sure but all this raises MY alarm signals.

In addition to Bob's concerns, I can only echo what I said in this thread ( <post:=596,663>post 596,663</post:> ) which you participated in. I know, in that thread you DID say something about the importance of local backup, but I throw it in for reference for other Loungers.
