    Alias as sender (XP)

I use an alias for my email address (eg kent@osel.com) which redirects to my actual address (eg kent@inernode.net) Is there any way to get the email I send to show as being addressed from my alias? I guess this would allow unscrupulous spammers to cover their tracks so I will not be surprised if the answer is no.

Under Tools | Email accounts | View or Change , select your mail server, Change | in the User Information part of the dialog enter your 'alias' as your email address | Next | Finish.

I recommend that you disguise your actual email addresses in your post by editing them to to "example" addresses - the Lounge forums are not immune to bots looking for email addresses to grab and spam.

Thanks John - that did the trick
    PS
They weren't my real email addresses.
