    Removing Markup Text (Word 2K3)

I have a Word document in which Track Changes was turned on and used. After accepting most of the changes, and after saving the document and changing it to Final, when you re-open the doc it still shows the mark-up text. Can someone tell me how to hide that a mark-up was ever even done on a document?

All changes must be either accepted or rejected. Otherwise, the markup remains in there.

How do you deal with comments, or mark-up's that do not allow you to accept or reject?

Comments remain in the document until you delete them.

Some tracked changes are difficult to "select." I use the "old" Accept and Reject Changes dialog, added to my Revisions toolbar using Customize. (There are past posts here on how to find it among all the commands...)
