Accessing email from different computer (OE 5.5 SP1)

This may have been answered elsewhere, but I just can't seem to find it.
I would like to know how to read my email (OE) from my daughter's house whenever I happen to be there - 3x a week (several hours @ day). Is there a site that can do this with a program?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Could you not select to leave your mail at your ISP (Yahoo/Hotmail/whoever) for x number of days before it's deleted?

I am only gone for a few hours maybe 3 or 4 times a week - I will then be using her computer while I am there - then back to my house...She lives 2 blocks away. I have hotmail as 2nd email, but most of my email goes to my ISP addy. I just want to be able to read my regular email while I am at her house

Export your account details (Tools | Accounts | Export) and save to a floppy. Import them to OE on the other computer (Tools | Account | Import), and then set the account to leave messages on the server and be included in Send and Receive operations. This will allow you to access your ISP's messages through the second computer, without losing the ability to access these messages from your home computer as well.

You may also try setting up a new identity on this second computer to keep your email separate.

Thank you. I didn't have to use floppy or anything like that. I just went to daughter's hotmail account...added myself (I have hotmail email also)-now all my regular email (POP) can be read while at her house. Only problem-when I get back to my house I get to read the same emails a second time...which isn't a big deal...I just delete them all.

There are a couple of site that I am aware of
www.thatweb.com and www.mailstart.com

These will work from any computer....anywhere. You simply enter your email address and password

If only at your daughters now and then, Id set up the 2nd identity, its under TOOLS/ACCOUNTS/MAIL then ADD, this brings up the wizard that walks you thro your own email setup on your daughters machine, that way you can keep it away from hers and only use when you want. Cheers, Cyberdancer

Thank you. See Post 60595. I have kept it the way I have described in that post. I am now 40+ hours at daughter's house.

Cyber..I just added myself to daughter's Hotmail account..using my POP3 addy..I also have Hotmail, so it wasn't too much trouble.
Thanks for asking.
