    Rounding off Percentage (Excel 2003)

    Hi,

Is there a way to round off Percentage. I am trying to get a percentage hike, which should be rounded to the nearest zero.

For eg. A1 is Current Sal, B1 is New Sal, C2 is % Hike (B1-A1)/A1 this has to be rounded off. i.e. if it is 3.9% it should be 4%, if 3.1% then 3%.

I tried round formula and it gives me 0.0%.

Looking forward to a solution for the same.

    Regards
    Baiju

Assuming C2 is formatted to display as a Percentage? This formula will work:

    =ROUND((B1-A1)/A1,2)

    Cheers
    Peter
