    Missing Sheets (03)

I have a workbook (approx. size 1MB) when opened I don't see any of the sheets. It is as if the workbook did not open. When trying to open the workbook again I receive a message that the workbook is already opened. I have tried Jan Pieterse's "Systematic Apporach to Behavioral Problems in XL" and that did not help.

In the project explorer I can see each sheet along with any code in the sheets or modules.

Does anyone have an idea of how to recover the file?

    Thanks,
    John

Have you tried Format/Sheet/Unhide to see if the sheets are hidden?

Is the workbook hidden [Window - Unhide]?

    Re: Missing Sheets (03)

    Legare,

That was one of the first things I did. If I completely shut down Excel and start it up again, I get a blank workbook. Then I try to open the file in question: it apparently opens but I still see "Book1" not the name of the file in quesiton. From the "Windows" dropdown I only see one workbook not two as one would expect.

    Regards,
    John
