    Access Audit Tables (Access 2003)

    Hello,

I previously created audit tables to track updates made to records through a form using allen browne's guide. I created a new table, which will now need to be audited for record changes. I followed the same steps to record the code to the onevent functions. I have attached a stripped down version of the database with the table that is not working. Could you please assist. Thanks for your help.

Re: Access Audit Tables (Access 2003)

The functions you use (to create the audit ) write to an error log whenever they find a problem. I see this in there this line many times:

"The INSERT INTO statement contains the following unknown field name: 'Start Date'. Make sure you have typed the name correctly, and try the operation again."

Can I also suggest you add a DateTime field (to tLgerror) with default value of =Now() so that you know when the error occured.
    Regards
    John
