    Korean characters (Word 2003)

Is there a way to make the US version of Word (and windows xp) work with Korean language characters? We have a foreign exchang student who wants to do word processing n her native language. I was told by someone that you could go to Tools | Language | Set Language, but that certainly doesn't give Korean characters

    Re: Korean characters (Word 2003)

If the student's computer has Windows 2000, XP or 2003 as operating system, support for Korean is included.

To make it available, select Start | Control Panel.
Open the Regional and Language Options control panel.
The Languages and Advanced tabs have options for adding support for East Asian languages and Korean.
