    Access 2003 XP SP2 'sandbox' (Access 2003)

Running Access 2003 on Windows XP SP2. When I try to appy the Jet service pack to get rid of the various error messages about macros and creating a "sandbox" environment, I get a message that the files on the PC are newer than the files in the service pack and it will not install.
There has to be a way to get around this? Any Ideas

The version of the Jet Engine in Windows XP SP2 is newer than Jet 4.0 SP8, so there is no need to do anything. If you want to be absolutely sure, read MSKB article How to obtain the latest service pack for the Microsoft Jet 4.0 Database Engine. It describes how to find out what the current version on your PC is.

It might help to set SandBoxMode to 0 in the registry - see MSKB article How to configure Jet 4.0 to prevent unsafe functions from running in Access 2003.
