    Regsvr32 missing? (Windows XP SP2)

I am getting error messages telling me, when I install a program, that Regsvr32 cannot be found. How do I remedy this? Thanks. - Ray

It should live in C:WINDOWSSystem32. Look there first for regsvr32.exe

Try copying it there from C:WINDOWSServicePackFilesi386 (if it will let you).

It should be dated 2004/08/04 00:56 and be 11,776 bytes in size (for WXP Pro SP2). This will show as 12K in Windows Explorer.

Thanks. I did a search and found it in Windows/system32/dllcache. I put a copy in the system32 subdir. Maybe that will solve the problem. Thanks again.

I'm glad you found it (somewhere) and I hope it fixes your problem!
