    laptop spacebar (5.1 build 2600 SP2)

The spacebar function on an old Eurocom laptop running Windows XP is not working properly. Is it possible to assign the spacebar function to another key ?

KeyTweak is a free utility to remap keys.

    Hans,

I looked at the manual KeyTweak User's Guide but could not a reference for the ability to store ascii text. Thus I presume this is just a Key Remapper.

    Have you run across a <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15> utility to re-assign keys to pre-load ascii text and assign to a key ?

Sorry, no idea. You might ask this in the Software Finds and Wants forum - you'll be sure to get a reply there.

Take a look at Download details: Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator (MSKLC) Version 1.3.4073. Note: Requires OS validation to download.
