    Hi James

    So what is the question <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

Is it that you want a second eye over the code or is it that you reckon there is a bug in the code?

Is there any way you can provide the link to the page and I will gladly have a look see <img src=/S/yep.gif border=0 alt=yep width=15 height=15>

    Re: broken links

For me, the home page images appear in both Firefox and Internet Explorer 6 (http://www.jim-stewart.co.uk/). Some of them appear to be stretched or squeezed, however. You might want to check that the aspect ratio used in the page matches that of the image file, or create your own thumbnails manually.

By the way, what is MDMX6?

    Hi Jimmy

Right, I understand why you have DEL in your URL...I will have to thank Jeff for that.

It seems you have been using the Create Web Album.. wizard. fraught with problems be that wizard. I have had a look at code you have for the galleries and it appears they are all linked correctly with the correct jpg.jpg and jpg.htm matching, a complete bizarre problem.

In the past, I have cheated somewhat when it comes to the Dreamweaver gallery generator wizard thingy. I have a source folder of my graphics and I create an empty destination folder, completely out of my root folder and I run the wizard. Once completed I create an empty page which has my stylesheet linked (internally or externally) and I Copy and Paste the table from the wizard generated page to my clean and tidy page. I find this method much "cleaner" because I sometimes find that fiddling with format after the wizard generation I can inadvertantly lose formatting and then spend a month of Sundays fixing the fault.

Having just had another look at the Isle of Eigg page it appears that there is a few <td> tag missing which has upset the apple cart. Try my suggestion in paragraph 2 or go through.

I have also parsed it through W3C's validator and it shows a few deprecated attributes in your code which may have a knock on effect also.

    Re: broken links

Mmmm Jimmy has not yet solved this issue. The issue after updating my WEB page www.jim-stewart.co.uk when I view the updated home page with my desk top computer on which the updating was made all appears well.
However, when I look at my updated site with me laptop my page has 7 broken links and the code looks ok to me but this I'm not into codeing more of a WYSIWUG. <img src=/S/bwaaah.gif border=0 alt=bwaaah width=123 height=15>
    The gallery pages seem ok.

    Re: broken links

I would say it is a problem with you cache needing to be cleaned out. Open up your website on the laptop in Firefox and then IE. Ensure you press Ctrl + F5......this will pull down a fresh set of pages to your laptop and clear your temporary internet folders <img src=/S/yep.gif border=0 alt=yep width=15 height=15>
