    changing voice of reader (2003)

    Hi,

I just stumbled on a feature that I did not know existed in Outlook. I had hit the reply button to a message and somehow I accidentally hit the Windows button and the "S" key and the computer started reading the email to me. I have searched and searched to find out anything about this feature. I can't find anything. Can anyone point me to info about this feature? I would like to know if I can change the voice that reads. When can this feature be used? Meaning, is it only available in the reply and forward mode? How does this get installed?

    TIA
    Bret

I think you will find this is a system wide capability not limited to Outlook; these settings are found under Start | Control Panel | Speech, you'll find the voice settings on the 'Text to Speech' tab. Perhaps your machine came with these tools already full installed?
