RoundUp to 10th (Excel 2003)

    Hi,

I am using a roundup function to round a value explicitly up to the nearest 10. RoundUP(1181,-1) = 1190...etc. BUT if I put in RoundUP(1180,-1) it = 1180. This is obviously because it is already at the nearest 10th, but I would like it also to = 1190. Any ideas???

    Tx
    Regards,
    Rudi

You could add a very small amount to the value:

    =ROUNDUP(A1+0.00000000001,-1)

or you could test whether the number is a multiple of 10:

    =IF(MOD(A1,10)=0,A1+10,ROUNDUP(A1,-1))

Tx for the choice! I like the IF approach, and I believe this will work just great!
    Cheers
