    Can't get Chart (2003 SP2)

    I am trying to show a graph of the results of a query. From the Toolbox I selected

    Try setting the RowSource property of the chart control to the name of the query.

    My bad, I didn't read your original post correctly. I thought you had inserted an MS Graph control. You have inserted a web control instead. Do you really need that? If so, right-click the control while in design view and select Microsoft Office Chart 11.0 | Edit, and follow the instructions. As you'll find, you'll have to specify a data source, etc. All very tedious.
    An MS Graph control (Insert | Chart...) has a much more direct link to the database, without needing to specify a data source. So if possible, use that instead of the Microsoft Office Chart 11.0 control.

    Thank Hans. I did the intuitive thing: when inserting a control, use the ToolBox. Wrong, as the MS Graph Control isn
