Multiple Checkboxes (Excel 2003)

I have a user who is inquiring if she can create multiple checkboxes at one time in Excel. Is this possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Is this being done directly in Excel, or is there an interaction with Word? If it's all Excel, I'll slide your post over to that board. If Word is involved, how is Word involved??

My apologies! I thought I was still in the Excel area. Yes, the work is being done directly in Excel. Thank you!

    Re: Multiple Checkboxes (Excel 2003)

You can create only one at a time from the Forms toolbar or Control Toolbox, but:

If you double click the check box button on either of these toolbars, each click in the worksheet will create a new check box, until you click the toolbar button again or press the Esc key. This way you can quickly create a series of check boxes without having to click on the toolbar each time.

Once you have created a few check boxes, you can select them:
    - Activate the Drawing toolbar
    - Click the 'Select objects' button (the north-west arrow).
    - Drag a rectangle around the check boxes, or click one, then shift+click subsequent ones.
You can now copy and paste them as a group.[/list]Not exactly what you asked, but it makes it possible to create many check boxes (or other types of control) quickly.
