    Removing a filter (Access 2000)

    Hi there.

    I have an access form that I have various filters for. When the user clicks the Remove Filter button - I would like to empty the text in a combo box. I am not sure which event I need to capture to do this.

    Any help is much appreciated

    You can use the Apply Filter event of the form. It has an argument ApplyType. When the filter is turned off, ApplyType is equal to acShowAllRecords. Example:

    Private Sub Form_ApplyFilter(Cancel As Integer, ApplyType As Integer)
    If ApplyType = acShowAllRecords Then
    Me.SomeCombo = Null
    End If
    End Sub
