    Win XP Home Upgrade

I am thinking about upgrading from win 98 to win xp home and in preparation for this I ran the windows upgrade advisor. The results show only one real problem. This is in the Hardware Compatibility Issues section. (Hardware that does not work in windows xp)
And that problem is with the video driver "Diamond Monster 3d Accelerator". My question is, if I do the upgrade will I lose all video or will the default xp drivers take over and I will only lose the special 3d accelerator stuff? Or will something else happen to my video?

    Thanks

    Re: Win XP Home Upgrade

Your card is very old. You may be able to find a driver that would work if you search the Internet enough. But, I'd not mess around if you have hardware that is incompatible. You can find a decent video card for an older system for < $50 USD. You should check out what is compatible with your PC & XP.
