    Personal.xls (2003 sp2)

    Subject corrected by HansV

Is there a command or something I can do to get the Personal and all the Macros to load when loading 2003 excel program ? I have manual ways and every time I now load 2003 I get a noise and question about danger. Even after I allow it to enable Macros, the personal sheet is missing under hide and unhide. If I then attempt to use certain Macros I am asked again and when I say Yes the personal is loaded in the hidden mode, (which I know by the hide/unhide options) I can then use the Ctrl R, Ctrl L, Ctrl D, Ctrl U. These are macros that change the direction of my enter key when used to cause the sheet to move the cursor position from left to right, up to down, right to left or down to up... ?

    Re: Personal.xls (2003 sp2)

    1) Make sure that your Personal.xls file is stored in the correct location:

    Cocuments and Settings<username>Application DataMicrosoftExcelXLSTART

(Note: the Application Data folder is hidden, so you must show hidden files and folders in Windows Explorer in order to see it.)

    2) Select Tools | Macro | Security.
Set the macro security level to Medium.
    Activate the Trusted Sources tab.
Tick the check box Trust all installed add-ins and templates.
    Click OK.
