    Picture in watermark (97)

    Hi,

I've got a problem: i'm making a template for making bills. The company wants their logo faded in the background. You can do this with a watermark but is it possible with a tiff? or a jpg? or bitmap? Or can i use word art only? When i use the tiff they gave me the header becomes very large and pushes everything underneath down the page. I can't seem to fix this problem. Where did I go wrong? IS there a solution?

    Thanks in advance,

    Paul

A watermark is a floating shape in the header or footer.
You can use any graphic you want, by inserting it into the page header, and specifying it as Floating and Behind Text in the Format | Format Picture dialog (I've forgotten what the exact options in Word 97 are)
