For the last week (ever since the last automated MS Windows update) my Excel will not stay open for certain spreadsheets. These spreadsheets are heavy with macros and UDF's. The spreadsheets will open for about a second and then immediately closes all instances of Excel that are open. I have other spreadsheets that are using macros that work fine. The only real difference I can see is that the macros for these are located in personal .xls. I also cannot open the VBA editor from Alt-F11 or from right clicking the tab and selecting view code. It also shuts down Excel. I have tried reinstalling MS office and this has not helped. Any suggestions?
