    Dual X axis (2002 SP3)

On that attached file, I'm having difficulty matching my points on the x-axis. The Date and Result No. field are related and on the top and bottom x axis. I'd like to have the data points match exactly and as I'm sure you can see, they are not. I've been playing with it for a day so you'll see more than one chart. If someone can check to see where the mistake is, I'd much appreciate it!

Also if you have a suggestion on how to make this info a bit more clear visually by using another type of chart, feel free!

    Thanks.

This is not what you want to hear, but I'd change the chart type from a scatter chart to a line chart, and forget about the second x axis.

Personally I would keep the XY scatter and just get rid of the 2nd Axis in case the dates are not equally spaced.

In general, I agree. In this situation, I got the impression that the user wants 3 month intervals; that is much easier to do using a time-scale category axis than with a numeric axis.
