    Image Size (2003)

I've used the excellent demo in <post#=296892>post 296892</post#> to add an image to a form. On most occasions it works, but sometimes it seems the image files are too large, and I get a message telling me so. I don't actually complete these forms, so have no control over the images being inserted. How can I make the form just accept any image, and insert it into the space?

Does it help if you change the Size Mode property of the image control? It has three settings: Clip, Zoom and Stretch. The default setting (Clip) shows the image at its true size; if it is larger than the image control, the image will be clipped. Try setting it to Zoom, i.e. fit the image in the control without distorting it. (Stretch isn't recommended, it distorts images)

Yes, I've already tried Zoom. It worked on another image that was too large, so I thought I had solved the problem, but it seems not.

Perhaps you should instruct the users not to try to insert very large images.

Sorted thanks Hans. <img src=/S/bingo.gif border=0 alt=bingo width=15 height=22> It looks as though the filename was the problem, and not the actual size of the picture.
