Cannot browse in multiple windows (IE6)

When I open a link in a new window, (hold down SHIFT or right click), the window stays blank? I can only browse in one window???
Is there a setting in IE to allow for multiple window browsing?

There's a setting to 're-use' windows - check that isn't set (although I don't think it makes any difference.)

Otherwise, if it is a link calling up a new window using Javascript, I think you will find that results in a blank window. The links to the Smilies here is a typical example.
Hover your cursor over the link and see what it says in the status bar at the bottom of the IE window.

Try the following:

1) Quit all programs that are running.
2) Select Start | Run...
3) Type
regsvr32 urlmon.dll

4) Press Enter or click OK.

If this does not resolve the problem, repeat steps 2 through 4 for each of the following files instead of Urlmon.dll. Check whether the problem has been solved after each one.
