    Link chart title to sheet name (Excel 2002)

    Is there any way to link the chart title to the sheet name? If the sheet name changes, the title must change too! I thought I could use the CELL("Filename") function, extract the month characters to the sheet and link the title to that cell, but I see that the function shows January across all the sheets!!!

    Any other solution?
    Tx
    Regards,
    Rudi

    1) Change the formula in D2 to
    <code>
    =MID(CELL("filename",A1),FIND("]",CELL("filename",A1))+1,100)
    </code>
    The 100 is just a number larger than the longest sheet name is likely to be. By including a cell reference in the formula, you refer to the current sheet.

    2) Click on the chart.
    Click on the chart title.
    Type = in the formula bar, then point to D2
    Press Enter.

    3) Repeat for the other sheets.
