    Vista Boot Pro

I ran into this neat utility that some will most likely will be very interested in: Vista Boot Pro

There is quite a bit of information on this utility on the website as well as a link to an active Forum where questions about it's use and other related subjects re: Vista, dual-booting, etc. can be found.

I just had to try this thing out since I have Win XP installed on "C:" and Win Vista RC2 installed on "V:" and Vista is the default boot O/S. With Vista Boot Pro I was able to 1) make XP the default boot O/S and 2) change the wording in the boot screen from "Eariler version of windows" to "Windows XP" in a matter of seconds. After applying the changes, I was prompted to reboot and the desired changes were evident and worked perfectly. Highy Recommended

HINT: Perhaps the powers that be would reconsider adding a Vista forum sooner than later? <img src=/S/evilgrin.gif border=0 alt=evilgrin width=15 height=15>

    Re: Vista Boot Pro

Having just installed Vista yesterday, this was the first place I came, for I had a question about dual booting. DaveA had already suggested the "how to" and this program was an excellent find. Thanks in arrears, Jeff!
