Error handle renaming a field (Access 2000 >)

If a field is renamed in a large DB, it causes name reference problems throughout the DB; in code, and queries, forms, reports and calculations...

I use the Tools | Analyse | Documenter to document all the DB objects, export the report to Word and run a find command to locate the old field name in all objects, so that I can manually go back to the DB and rename the entry. Is this the most effective way to do this? What other methods could be adopted to update the DB in the case of a field being renamed? any add-ins to do the job automatically...(or am I dreaming??)?

    Tx
    Regards,
    Rudi

I use Rick Fisher Consulting - Find and Replace for Microsoft Access. It's not free, but it's worth the money, and you can download it for a free 30-day trial period.
