    Single Address (2000)

    Hello:
I have an address list that contains multiple occurrences of the same addresses. For example, both husband's and wife's name appears with the same address. I only need to mail to the one address, doesn't matter who gets the mailing.
How do I build the query to include only the one address?
    Thank you,
    Doug

Create a query based on your address table.
Add the fields you need to the query grid.
Select View | Totals to change the query to a totals query.
Leave the Total option for the address fields as the default Group By.
Set the Total option for the other fields such as the name fields to First.

Thank you, Hans. That works great.
