Share Calandars (Outlook 2003/ SBS Exchange server)

We have 7 employees, each with their own mailbox, connected through Exchange.
Out of all the sharing options, which is the best for any employee to see if another person is available or not, without disclosing where they are or who they are meeting with, or have them "create a meeting" to see the busy times of othrs?
I have looked at the options but am unsure which would be the best (& easiest) to implement without having to double input information, or reveal appointment details.

Create a group schedule:
- Activate Calendar
- Select Action | Group Schedules...
- Click New...
- Provide a name and add the employees.

If you are on Exchange SBS, can't you see other employees availability without sharing Calendars, by starting a meeting request and then clicking the Scheduling tab?

Yes, That will cover the need for an easy way to see who has time slots blocked out. Thank you.

Thanks John, you are correct of course, you can, which I have shown to people. But you know the story.... "that's too difficult, there must be a one step, do nothing, know everything option....!?"
