    Page Format (2003)

I need to create some internal publications on repair procedures, a little like a newspaper/booklet type of thing.

The style I want to use is of a picture on the left of the page and to the right of the pic, a paragraph of text.
However I try this, I can't get the block of text in the right of the page..
Inserting a pic from file, the return takes me under the pic for the text to continue.

Can anyone help with any tips ?

Right click on the picture and select "Format Picture." Click on the "Layout" tab and select either "Square" or "Tight" under Wrapping Style and then "Left" under Horizontal alignment. Square will make the text on the right into a square, and Tight will make the text align to the shape of your picture.

And to add a little to what Ruth said, you can make that the default layout for pictures if you go to Tools - Options - Edit then select the option you prefer from the drop down box labelled Insert/paste pictures as.
