Might be cheaper than just getting Sophos Antivirus by itself!

Ita, esto, quidcumque...
Hey Doc,
It will be interesting to see how their AV scanner goes up against the rest.
I received an e-mail from Webroot stating I can have the AV add-on to Spy Sweeper for US$10. for the balance of my SS subscription... which goes until November 2007. Unfortunately I just upgraded my NOD32 subscription to a three license Family Pac for two years !!!
Cheers, Bob

Hi Bob,
I may be one to test it for them. Although Sophos has a very solid reputation and I'm confident it is every bit as good as Symantec or McAfee.
I got the same offer. $10 for the duration of my subscription. I'm going to contact them about this, because I just signed up for two years with Spy Sweeper this month and if they're gonna give me 2 years of AV updates and support for both products, I'll dump my 3 month old, 1 year Norton subscription (or at least disable it) and go with the Webroot product for spyware and AV. It would be tough to beat that price for such solid protection for 2 years.
