    Web link (??)

    Hi
    Just helping a friend with his web page, he's trying to provide a link on his site.
    The following code has been supplied with an explanation at the end.
    Just need some clarification as to which way to paste it.;

    <pre><script language="javascript"
    src="http://www.skybargains.co.uk/affiliates/linkbuilder.asp?media=4&aff=FVSE"></script></pre>

    NB - There is a space between the " and src in the coding which is why it
    appears on two lines, hopefully your web designer will spot this.

    Do I assume the code needs to be pasted as one continuous line as opposed to the two lines as the above is laid out. ?

    Dave

    Copy and paste this:

    <script language="javascript" src="http://www.skybargains.co.uk/affiliates/linkbuilder.asp?media=4&aff=FVSE"></script>

    There is a carriage return in there, probably where it was placed in the code. This is not an issue but I have removed it and made it one long string. Paste it back in as is and see if this works...spaces are not a real issue.....good luck

    It does not need to be on one line.

    By the way, the modern way to write a script tag is to change language="javascript" to type="text/javascript".

    Thank you both, my friend has now resolved the issue.
