Word Doc into PP (2002 (Both))

I have a 6 page Word document including pictures. I want to bring each page into PPoint as a separate slide. When I open PPoint and insert the word document as an object, only the first page appears, but when I click on edit document in PPoint, the whole Word document displays.
How do I get each page in as a separate slide foe lecture purposes

    Open the presentation in PowerPoint.
    Open the document in Word.
    Switch to PowerPoint.

Insert a blank slide or a slide with only a title - whichever you prefer.
    Switch to Word.
    Select the first page.
    Copy to the clipboard.
    Switch to PowerPoint.
    Select Edit | Paste Special...
Select the option to paste as a Word document or as a picture, then click OK.

Repeat the above steps for the other pages in the document.

    Hi Mike,

If you prefer to have the information in the slides themselves, for greater control over animation etc for induvidual points, then I find that to get data into Powerpoint starts in Word itself. The secret lies in generating a Word Outline, by adding Heading Styles to the areas of the document. If you switch to Outline view in Word (View Menu) then this is greatly facilitated. All heading one text will eventually become a new slide in Powerpoint when imported. All Heading two text becomes main level bullet points, all Heading three text in Word becomes second level bullet points in Powerpoint...etc...

Once the outline is generated in Word, switch to Powerpoint and choose Insert | Slides form Outline. Point to your outlined Word document and choose OK. This will automatically generate a slide presentation of your Word document and allow you to add animation to the points.

PS: You will need to copy and paste the pictures manually. Outlining is only for text!
    Regards,
    Rudi
