    brown font (2000)

    Is there a short cut key for turning font brown?

    You will first need to mix the brown colour of your choice by going into TOOLS | OPTIONS | COLOR.
    Select a colour close to brown and choose MODIFY
    Mix the tone you want and choose OK
    Then in Excel, select the range of text to shade and use the Toolbar (Font Color) to apply the brown tone you mixed.

    One way to apply the colour over and over again is to use F4. Shade the text with brown and then use F4 to apply the same colour to other ranges...

    You can also detach the colour palette from the toolbar by clicking the arrow next to the colour button and then pulling the palette off the button at the title bar. Then you have all the colours ready at hand!
