Remove Avery tool bar (Office 2003)

I recently installed Avery Wizard 3.0. This installed an icon/tool bar in Outlook. This tool bar takes up space. I don't need to access the Avery wizard from Outlook. I went to the View menu and unchecked the Avery icon and the tool bar was removed. However when I restart Outlook it returns. I have tried moving the Avery tool bar to the end of one of the other tool bars to save space, But again when I restart Outlook it is back on a line of its own. I can remove and reinstate other tool bars. Why not this one?

Do you use Word as e-mail editor?

Yes, but I have been able to hide or move the tool bar in Word.

You probably have an Avery add-in (.dot) that loads automatically.

Look at Tools | Templates and Add-Ins in Word. Clear the check box for Avery.dot or similar.
Then quit Word and Outlook, and restart Outlook.
If that doesn't help, look at the STARTUP folder for Word (you can see its path in the File Locations tab of Tools | Options... in Word). Move the Avery.dot (or similar) file out of this folder.

I cleared the Avery add-in in Word. There is nothing in the STARTUP folder for Word. I closed Outlook and Word. Restarted Outlook and the Avery icon/tool bar returns. (It is gone in Word.) I seem to remember that there is an add-in tab somewhere in Outlook, but I can not find it. If so, perhaps I need to uncheck it there.

Select Tools | Options... in Outlook.
    Activate the Other tab.
    Click Advanced Options...
Click Add-In Manager... to see a list of installed add-ins.
Clear the check box of an add-in you want to disable.
(It could also be a COM add-in; click COM Add-Ins... to see those)

I'm afraid I'm stumped. I hope someone else will be able to help you.

When you installed the was there an option to do a custom install? If so, you could uninstall and re-install to see if you can not install the Outlook add-in.
