Re: Drop - Down Field (Word 2000)

Hi there! I am very, very, very new to creating forms on Word. Currently I am working on creating an Invoice which I would like to include a drop-down which would be used for taxes. In other words, you would have a choice depending the county, etc. it would then calculate the taxes selected on the drop-down to the subtotal. Also, is it possible to have it all calculate in one field. I hope I am not confusing anyone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, this board is awesome...

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

You can do some pretty amazing things with fields in Word: see <!profile=macropod>macropod<!/profile>'s Star Post <!post=Word Field Maths (1.20),365442>Word Field Maths (1.20)<!/post>. But Word is not really the ideal program for calculations - Excel is much better at that. You might consider using Excel instead of Word.

If you still prefer to do it in Word and would like more assistance, it would help if you could attach an example of what you want (with proprietary details removed or altered).
