    Digital Signature (2003)

    Hi,

I have used SelfCert.EXE to create my own digital signature. Now I want to delete the signature so that it does not display in the list of signatures in the security tab of word. How do I delete the signature. There is not delete option and even when I run a windows search, it does not show where the signature is to delete??

    Tx
    Regards,
    Rudi

    Select Start | Run...
Type mmc and press Enter or click OK.
    Select File | Add/Remove Snap-in...
    Click Add...
    Select Certificates in the list.
    Click Add...
    Select 'My user account'.
    Click Finish.
    Click Close.
    Click OK.
You should now see Certificates - Current User under Console Root.
    Expand by clicking +
    Expand Personal.
    Click on Certificates.
You'll see a list of certificates in the right hand pane.
Select the one you want to delete.
Press the Delete key or click the Delete button.
    Confirm.

    A somewhat easier approach.

    Start Internet Explorer
    Tools > Internet Options
    Content
    Certificates

    Thankyou both....

    I prefer the longer method....(it makes me feel smarter! <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>)
