    weird numbers (XP)

Please see attached sample. No matter what I do (again, someone else's spreadsheet), I can't enter a number into any cell that doesn't automatically convert the number into a 2-digit decimal - for example, if I enter 123456 the result is 1234.56 - WHY????? The fomatting, as far as I can see, is correct - I turned off the interation - made sure the language is English - don't know what else to do.

    Thanks again

Howdy. In Tools > Options > Edit, the box next to "Fixed decimal" (on left side) should be unchecked. It might be checked and set to 2. This would be your system causing it. When I opened the spreadsheet it worked fine (no decimals).
