    Showing file extension (SP2)

How do I show the full file name (including extension) in My Documents? I need to be able to rename .zm9 (ZoneAlarm compressed) files to .zip files in order to open them, but the .zm9 extension does not show and when I rename Windows still thinks it's dealing with a .zm9 file and will not open the file.

The normal way to show file extensions is through the Folder Options > View window in Windows Explorer. Does this not show the extensions?

Thanks for your very prompt help, Leif. Hide extensions for known file types was in fact checked. Should have been able to find this for myself, but panicking in the face of a really tight deadline. Thanks, anyway.
