I just moved from win2k and outlook 2k to win xp and outlook 2003.

Several days ago I realized one of my contacts had a fax number that was wrong and I deleted it.

Yesterday I noticed in forwarding an email - some of my contacts had lost their email addresses - rest of each affected contact is ok. This morning I noticed 10 more had lost their email addresses - again rest of affected contact info is ok. I was able to use recieved emails to rebuild the email addresses.

I have since duplicated all of my email addresses in the notes section of each contact to make sure I don't lose them permanently.

I have no idea what caused this except maybe something with deleting the fax number earlier - the first set of missing email addresses were clustered around the contact that I removed the fax number from.

Any ideas will be appreciated as to how I might have caused this.
