    Filter records by month (2002)

    Hello all! Thank you in advance for all your time in helping me! I have a database that houses 401k plan information. On my Main Menu I would like to add a subform that lists out all of the plans that have a year end for the current month, so that when people are using the db, they can see right away which plans are ending. My subform query has two fields, plan name and year end. THe year end filed is a date/time field, and I have tried in the criteria to filter for the current month without any luck. Any suggestions??

    I'd add two calculated columns to the query. The first one is

    M: Month([YearEnd])

    Replace YearEnd with the actual name of the year end field.Clear the Show check box for this column, and set the criteria line to

    Month(Date())

    The second one is

    Y: Year([YearEnd])

    Clear the Show check box for this column too and set the criteria line to

    Year(Date())

    The query should now only return the plans for which the year end is in the current month.
