When I Reply, Part of Message Lost (Unknown)

I use Eudora Lite 3.0. Normally, when I reply to a message, Eudora copies the entire old message to the new reply message and puts ">"'s in front of each line. Sometimes, when I get a message from someone using Outlook, this does not happen properly. Instead, parts of the message get lost. For example, I received the following message from an Outlook user:

    Hi Ronny,

I have attached info about the accepted panel. It's for the DSI Annual Meeting, November 17-20, 2001, in San Francisco. Info about the meeting can be found at http://www.cob.asu.edu/dsi/

When I reply to her, the following is shown in the reply window:

    At 02:49 PM 07/07/2001 -0400, you wrote:

This only happens when the message was sent to me by an Outlook user so I don't think the problem is with Eudora. Any suggestions?

Does it matter whether the message is in plain text or HTML? If it happens only to HTML messages, perhaps there are some MS Office-specific tags that Eudora doesn't like?

As far as I can tell, it is plain text. I receive almost no HTML mail at all.

Sounds like time to ask Eudora if they have any ideas.
