    Calculating a due date 30 days out (Word 2000)

    i am trying to figure out how to calculate a due date to show up on a document 30 days from todays date in word. Is this possible? <img src=/S/confused.gif border=0 alt=confused width=15 height=20>

    Welcome to the lounge.

    To see how to do this and just about everything else you might want to do with dates in Word, check out my Date Calc 'tutorial', in <post#=249902>post 249902</post#>.
    In particular, check out the entry under 'Calculate a day, date, month and year, using n (301) days delay'. For your purposes, you'll need to change the Delay value of 301 to 30. Depending on your regional settings and whether you want the field to recalculate everytime you open the document, you might need to change the 'DATE' expressions in the field coding too. These are all explained in the document.
