    Subreport (Access 2000)

Can you help me with the design of the subreport? I want to make the subreport rptOutlays attached to the main report rptGains in such a way, that the outlays for each office to be presented for each office in the upper left corner of the report. And of course they should appear only when the option office is chosen.I am sending the form and both the reports

You have not included the query qryAccountability in your database.

The database you posted is missing the queries that provide the data for the reports.

I am not sure, but I think that the table(s) that provide data for rptGains is also missing.

What is the link between the two reports?
    Regards
    John

Thank you for the replies.I am sending you the stripped database with th tables. The tables and he report are also stripped to show only the relevant fields. The common link between the two reports is afid. It is shortened from affiliates. the table affiliates contains the ofices.when i choose the profits for each office, i want on the right left corner to sho the outlays.the part with the offices i have done excellent, of course with the help of the Lounge.I have only to finish the part with the outlys.Unfortunately my Winodws version does not contain the wizard for subreports.
    Would you help me ?

You can drag the sub report from the database window to the report.

All you need do then is to specify the Master / Child links.

You still haven't included the record source for rptOutlays.
When you drag rptOutlays onto rptGain (in design view), as suggested by patt, click the ... button to the right of the Link Child Fields or Link Master Fields property of the subreport. Access should then automatically suggest afid as link field. If that doesn't work, you can enter afid manually in both properties.
