    hijack this log

My internet explorer (when loading a site) comes up with a fishy 404 error "file not found" message. It is of a hazy blue computer, and with red text that reads "HTTP error! :404 -File not found!

this happens whenever I use internet explorer to load a webpage (ie google.com)

    - Trying to access a site via the IP address does not work as well.
    -I disabled all BHOs
-I cleared most of my startup programs va msconfig
-I ran lavasoft spyware sweeper, AVGspyware, AVGvirus, search and destroy, etc
    -firefox works as normal
-Opera web browser does NOT work, and neither does any programs using IE files (I guess?)
-I ran a repair of windows

here is the hijack this log

    Re: hijack this log

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

At first sight, I don't see anything suspicious in your HijackThis log, but I'm not an expert. I recommend that you also post your log at the SpywareInfo Forums (the epxerts there are often very busy, so don't expect a reply right away), or let it be checked automatically at HijackThis Log file analysis.

    Re: hijack this log

    Hi there

I took the liberty of running your script via the link that Hans gave and it looks like you have a problem. It seems to say that Hijackthis can fixit...good luck
