    Code VBA

Does anyone have any comments on the usability/value of the Code VBA tool found here?

    Re: Code VBA

I've no experience of using it. It looks like quite a handy utility but not something I'd pay for - especially at those prices.

    Re: Code VBA

Haven't tried it, but it seems like big bucks for what it has to offer. Although it looks handy, but as I see it :
    - Intellisense covers a lot of this
    - Such automation may lead to "slack" coding practices... which become evident when operating without such an aid,
    - Can detract fom the learning process,
    - May be largely redundant for the experienced coder (like yourself)

Sounds awfully negative, I know. Still, I'm sure it will appeal to some folk.

    Re: Code VBA

Another question to consider is how futureproof it is (will it work with Office 2007 when it comes out next year, for example?)

    Re: Code VBA

The link "Find all built-in VBA procedures and code fragments related to your keywords in zero seconds." (my emphasis) appears broken.
I still think my Project Manager is a better tool for developers like me.

    Thanks Folks

Thanks to one and all for the thoughts and guidance. Particularly to Chris for the alternative.

    Thanks again

    Re: Code VBA

The little dialog displaying Access objects suggests that it would be much more helpful there than, say, in Word.
