    Header problem (Word 2000)

    Hello,
I have a problem with the merge of a letter. When I open the letter with the ERP software the merge fields get filed. When I go to the second page there appears a header and also this merge field get filed. Now I want to make a change in the header on the second page. I have open the sjabloon in MS Word go to the second page, there the merge fields appears. When I add some text to the header and save the sjabloon and use it in the ERP software the merge fields on the second page don't work anymore.

How can I make a change in the heading on the second page so the merge fields stay work?
